Sessions will introduce gift cards basics to help educate new or less experienced industry professionals attending the event
MINNEAPOLIS, September 18, 2018 – At its upcoming RGCA Forum, the Retail Gift Card Association (RGCA) will showcase several 101-level sessions delivering foundational, back-to-the-basics closed-loop gift card knowledge for new industry professionals and those looking to refresh their existing skill sets. These sessions will help attendees gain perspective and a solid foothold ahead of other Forum content that will take a deeper dive into the closed-loop gift card industry.
RGCA member experts will deliver four interactive 101-level sessions sharing intelligence about how to set up and manage successful gift card programs, the role gift card exchanges play in the closed-loop gift card ecosystem, and how gift cards factor into effective B2B programs. Attendees will also learn about best practices for designing and manufacturing gift cards, as well as card marketing strategies.
“The closed-loop gift card industry is growing and there are no signs of slowing down. As part of this growth the number of people creating, managing, and executing gift card programs is increasing, but until now there haven’t been many resources to build foundational knowledge to do all of this successfully,” said Marina Hodges, RGCA Board Chair. “These sessions provide an excellent opportunity for gift card novices or those dusting off their existing framework to receive a simplistic introduction—or re-introduction—to the industry directly from the experts.”
